Somehow my lancers don't drop free, but I know others have no issues. Pmags and usgi mags have always dropped free. Load 30rd mags to 28 for best results. With pmags, I'd go gen 3. I've heard something about the plastic being weaker on gen 2. Not certain about the veracity of this claim, but I am sure that usgi mags like okays and D&H are 100%.
