Dont worry about the hubs, they will get filled up. If you want, you can spin them a couple of times, wait 5 minutes, and check fluid level again.

This is also the capacity posted in the Geno's Garage tech section. You did it right. The Dana 300 takes a GL5 rated gear oil, same as the diffs. No additives needed. The transmission however takes a GL4 rated gear oil or synchromesh fluid.
